Purpose of Life in Islam

We usually don’t hear this question, “What is the purpose of life in Islam?”. But when we were kids, we were often being asked “what is your aim in life?” and we replied exactly with what our parents or teachers advised to say.

Yes, when we were kids, we had an aim in life that was set by someone else. Some of us made the dream happen and some of us couldn’t. I asked a couple of my successful friends who look happy and proud of themselves. But for some reasons they are not. Maybe that’s because that’s wasn’t their “aim in life” and they spent all those walking in the wrong direction. How they can be happy!

As we are Muslims we should ask ourselves “What is the purpose of life in Islam?”. If we don’t know the real purpose of Islamic life, all our lives will be vain. We will be Muslims, but our inner mind will never be satisfied and we will always feel as we are missing something special, something can’t be seen, something so important.

If you could find that “something”, your life would be more beautiful.
